Where story meets
social change.

I connect organizations to communities - through grant research, creative communications, and storytelling rooted in equity and access.

Nonprofits are where
purpose lives.

When I entered arts administration, something clicked into place: my passion wasn't just for the arts themselves, but for the space between communities and the arts. I want to build the bridge that provides access so that the arts are no longer sitting on the margins the way they once were for me. I plan to do so by helping sustain art organizations through creative communications that reach broader audiences.

Arts as Access

Art organizations benefit communities through the access they provide. I am drawn to organizations that prioritize accessibility by understanding the communities they serve.

Storytelling as Strategy

From grant applications to donor newsletters, I believe purposeful storytelling is one of the most powerful tools an arts organization has. I bring research rigor and a careful attention to language to every communications task.

Community as Center

My grant research on single-parent families in the arts taught me that all voices benefit from representation in the arts. I want to work for organizations whose values and vision statements reflect a commitment to equity.

Data with Heart

Whether it's calculating survey results for 250 subscribers, tracking social media metrics, or building Excel reports, I understand the importance of data and its impact on an organization's next steps.

Why I chose
this work.

I grew up as the daughter of a single mother. I know what it means to navigate the world without a full safety net - and I know what it means to find refuge in creative expression when other doors feel closed.

When I discovered Arts Administration in college, I didn't just find a career path. I found a framework for everything I already believed: that the arts build community, that storytelling creates empathy, and that the people most underserved by our systems are often the ones with the most powerful stories to tell.

That belief led me to finding what was missing in the arts, which brought along my mock art nonprofit Ability to Say, and led me to pursue grant-funded research on why this identity is so absent from our cultural institutions. I want to spend my career making sure arts organizations are reaching the people who need them most.
